It was an enthusiastic coming together of our future: our students, and our priests. The Mass was beautiful and very meaningful. I agree with the students' comments regarding the music, the welcoming acknowledgment, and the personal witness stories. Afterwards, it would have a been a unique opportunity for all the priests to remain; to mingle and chat with our students; to introduce themselves and to see for themselves what the students are thinking. What a great opportunity to have some dialogue in a non-threatening atmosphere. Most priests left immediately after the Mass.
As well, our students looked forward to meeting other Catholic students in a faith context. Most of the students also left immediately after the Mass.

I appreciate the opportunity to participate in the Mass and congratulate those who planned it. We traveled for several hours to attend and do not regret doing so. We look forward to future Masses of Chrism, with more time for the much-needed and anticipated social interaction.
