• Is there something WE can do?

Hello all!

I have just been thinking alot these past few weeks. As a young adult in the catholic faith, I would love to see more activities for the youth in our communities. I for one would be ready to start something for them... but how do I start... I surely can't do this alone.

We need to show and bring the youth to God... We need to show them that having faith is the only way of life... The TRUE way of life. They starve for acceptance, love and understanding. They starve SO much that they look for it in all the wrong places... As a future teacher, it pains me to see, and yes, even understand their thirst for Life.

Is there something I can do? Is there something WE can do?

Hello all!

Well, in response to my own thoughts, I decided that I am going to try and organize an evening per week or so, where the youth can meet to share, pray and just to be. I'm inviting all youth to participate. Our first meeting will be this friday (May 12th) at the Emmaus Centre (139 Durham st.) at 7pm. All are welcome!

If you are 14-30 yrs of age, you are welcome to come and share with others about your faith, questions, worries, joys, etc. The meetings are held at the Emmaus Centre, every friday night at 7pm. All are welcome!

Si tu as 14-30 ans, tu es invité à venir faire des partages sur ta foi, tes questions, tes inquiétudes, tes joies, etc. Les rencontres de jeunes ont lieu au Centre Emmaus (139 rue Durham), a chaque vendredi soirs a 7h. Tous sont les bienvenues!
