• Trying to find my place...

Hello everyone...

I'm just trying this out. I'm not really sure what it's going to give me... Anyhow, my name is Danielle, I am 23 years old. I am currently finishing my last year at Laurentian University, in Teacher's college. The reason why I am writing this, is because, like so many young adults, I am trying to find my way and my place, here, in this world. I guess I might not be like any other "typical" girl... I want to live my life for Christ, with Christ and in Christ... I'm not sure if teaching is my "vocation"... I know that my place is with children and with the youth, but I'm not quite sure if it's in the classroom setting. I have often tried to start catholic youth groups, but have never have had the success I had hoped for... therefore, I took it as though it's just not the time. I'm just frustrated I guess... Yes, I am still young, and yes, I know I need to be patient... I guess I'm just eager to finally do what I am called to do. Perhaps I am in the right place? Who knows... Just a little confused, and thinking out loud here...

Like I said, just trying to find my way... somewhere... So I take it one day at a time with Christ... It's all I can do... And I must remember to try and enjoy the journey and not rush to the destination? Right?

Thank you for the website Jim... I checked it out and was very intrigued. The minute I get more time, I'm going to look into it! I would love to be part of something like that... and you are right, I know I do have a calling for the youth ministry... It's where to go and how to get there that's kinda "bothering" me. But I'll keep my ears, eyes, heart and spirit open to God's will... It's all I can do at the moment.
