Does the Catholic Church teach that the only means of forgivness is through the sacrament of Reconciliation? If so how could our Protestant brothers can be saved or forgiven?

The Catholic Church teaches that we are forgiven from sins through the Sacrament of Baptism, through Reconciliation and even by means of the penitential rites which are part of the beginning of each Mass.
