1. WHAT WE DO

From its very beginning, as a non-profit charitable production service, Cath-Com Productions has had as its primary purpose to be of service to the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie and other charitable organizations, with a low-budget production capability. And for the past 26 years we have been able to accomplish this.

2. HOW WE DO IT

It was understood from the outset that this endeavour would be a self-sufficient operation of the Diocese. It would obtain funding as a non-profit charitable corporation from various sources in order to carry on its work and to purchase, repair, and maintain its equipment and operation.

At no time has Cath-Com Productions ever intended to be totally supported by the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie.

3. OUR STRUCTURE

As stated in our letters of patent, Cath-Com Productions (Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie Inc.) has a board of directors composed of: a president, a secretary-treasurer, and two directors. There is also a financial committee, a planning committee, and a production team. All are considered members of Cath-Com Productions.

The day-to-day business and projects of the organization are conducted by the Executive Director, Rev. Msgr. John H. Caswell, and by the Business Manager/Producer, Mrs. Roseanne Lyons.

4. OUR PROJECTS

With our own facilities we produce the popular Sunday religious television program - A Mass for Shut-Ins. It is produced 39 times a year, and although funded by a different group, it would not be possible to produce, if not for Cath-Com Productions. We have produced other presentations for television and are available to assist others who have a need for assistance with this medium.

Over the years we have designed audio-visual presentations, brochures, posters, and campaigns for a variety of non-profit charities, thus allowing them to get the most for the money they have had to spend.

We take our commitment to the church and community very seriously and try to make the best use of every dollar we have available for our media work.
