We had a weekend conference for our beneficiaries with Father Daniel Larrivée, o.ss.t.

Friday we had a christian concert with the Emmaüs Disciples (who did music ministry all weekend) followed by a life witness by Father Dan. What a breath of hope!

Saturday we had talks on the theme "Do you love me?" Jn 21:15. We learned how to make rosaries and how to pray using them. There was the sacrement of reconciliation, mass and after supper we had a prayer evening with the Blessed Sacrement.

Sunday there were more nourishing teachings, sunday mass and a time of witness and sharing.

Here is what some people got out of their weekend:

"I felt the presence and Love of God for the first time" L.

"There were bridges that were built between different kind of people. I really felt the presence of Jesus" B.

"Adoration was the part I loved the most" L.

"I would like to thank God, Father Dan (a real shepherd) and the Emmaüs Centre for welcoming me and permitting me to participate in this weekend. I received healings and graces. I would like to thank the Centre...Without them, the people from the street and the youth would not have had the opportunity to participate at a retreat. I would also like to thank the diocese for saying "yes" to this retreat, so that it could become a reality and a real success. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." Thank you Lord Jesus! " D.

"I was able to approach the monstrance for the first time without being afraid" A.
