Two permanent members of the Taizé community in France will be visiting in the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie. They are travelling on a pilgrimage of faith to various parts of Quebec and Northern Ontario in order to introduce people to the prayer of Taizé and to promote an upcoming Ralley which will take place in Montreal in April of this year.
The Taizé ralley, which will take place on April 27 and 28, 2007 is sponsored by His Eminence, Jean-Claude Cardinal Turcotte, the Archdiocese of Montreal, the Anglican Church in Montreal and the United Church in that same city.
If you are interested in helping with singing, music, publicity, welcoming or décor for future Taizé gatherings in Sudbury (February 28, April 4, May 23 and June 27), the organizing committee welcomes you to join us.
During the visit of these two members from the Taizé community in the Sudbury area, we will be gathering at Ste-Anne-des-Pins parish on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 10:30.
