Christmas Concert in Sudbury
The Troubadours present The Most Beautiful Story Ever Sung
Upholding their annual tradition, The Troubadours, a bilingual semi-professional community choir, will perform their much-anticipated new Christmas concert entitled The Most Beautiful Story Every Sung during the first week of December. Comprising a superb selection of traditional and contemporary holiday carols and a mix of sacred and popular selections, this concert will help you renew with the true meaning of the upcoming Christmas Season.
The Troubadours choir consists of 55 members from all walks of life in the Greater Sudbury region, all passionate about music. The choir also welcomes back a well-known and much appreciated musical director, Monique Lapalme-Arseneault, who has accepted The Troubadours’ invitation to direct the group once again. “The entire group truly enjoys working with Monique. Her legendary energy, enthusiasm and her passion for beautiful traditional pieces have given new wings to our choir,” notes Jacqueline Gauthier, President of The Troubadours. Michel Giroux, accompanist extraordinaire, also rejoins the group, to everyone’s delight.
“I am most excited to present the upcoming Christmas concert in Sudbury with The Troubadours. I am surrounded by a group of talented musicians who have been working diligently since September to put together this uplifting concert. Hopefully, our loyal public will accept our invitation and appreciate the hard work we have put into this show,” said Monique Lapalme-Arseneault. “I truly believe this beautiful concert will go a long way in fostering the Christmas Spirit to one and all.”
