New Marriage Office Announcement
Who to Contact for What
Due to the recent changes in
the Chancery Office and Marriage Tribunal Office, a new MARRIAGE OFFICE is now
in effect. You may contact Ms. Rosemary
Cappadocia (ext. 231) in the Marriage Office by mail, fax or e-mail
pertaining to all matters listed below. The new e-mail address is
marriageoffice@diocesecentre.com.
The Fax number is 705-674-8045. If you are sending anything by
mail, please mark the envelope to the
Attention of Rosemary
Cappadocia and she, in turn, will deal
with the Chancellor. The following will be handled by the MARRIAGE OFFICE.
- Declaration of Nullity cases
- Ligamen cases
- Privilege cases (Pauline, Petrine, Privilege of the
Faith)
- Declaration of Freedom cases
- Lifting of Prohibitions (i.e.
Monitum/Vetitum)
- Nihil Obstats
- Dispensations for marriages - includes banns, mixed
religion, disparity of cult (ad cautelam)
- Lack of Canonical Form cases
- Sanatio cases
- All other cases such as consanguinity, internal forum
solution, etc.
- Marriages dealing with different
rites
- Forms pertaining to marriages such as Form I's, Form
II, Form III, Form IV, Form V
- Testimonials
- Marriage civil licenses for
priests
