LAY APOSTOLATE FORMATION 2008 - 2009
An invitation to apply for the Lay Apostolate Formation process in your region.
Dear People of God in the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie,
As the Diocesan Coordinator of Faith Development + Evangelisation, I am delighted to report that we are ready to begin recruiting new people for the Lay Apostolate Formation that will begin this September of 2008.
This year the Lay Apostolate Formation will undertake a year of Theology which will run from September of 2008 to June of 2009.
The Lay Apostolate Formation process has been designed for persons who have responded to their baptismal call to be of service to the Church. This would include: lectors, lay ministers of Holy Communion, catechists, sacramental preparation teams, parish leadership teams, financial and parish councils, hospitality and environment persons, ushers, wo/men’s groups, and any others who have a desire to serve.
In September 2008, we will begin the Theology year of the Lay Apostolate Formation which will be offered in the regions of North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, and Sudbury.
