Social Affairs Office
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to assist our bishops and the people of God in proclaiming the gospel through activities for justice and the transformation of society. We do this in accordance with the social teachings of the Church and the pastoral objectives of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops ( CCCB ) and the Ontario Conference of Catholic Bishops ( OCCB ) .
We fulfill this mandate by:
-
making known the social messages of the Church
-
engaging in social action
-
collaborating with other pastoral ministries within our parishes, diocese and the broader community.
Reverend Mr. Paul Labelle, permanent deacon, is Coordinator
of the Social Affairs Office, English sector.
