Catholic Youth Council Comes into Being
The Sudbury Pastoral Region has a Catholic Youth Council to journey with young people.
The Sudbury Pastoral Region has a Catholic Youth Council(CYC) to journey with young people across the region. The Catholic Youth Council(CYC) is a group of twenty something young adults who have a love for their faith and a desire to share that faith with others. There desire to share their faith results in their spending time with high school aged youth where they're at. To introduce young people to Jesus in their daily lives: school, work, family and friends. It is with their enthusiasm that the CYC attracts young people to belong to the council and offer their experiences to other young people. People have a need to belong, to know that there is something bigger than themselves. Young people are no different. The CYC hopes to travel the avenues of life and faith with our young people. To help young people recognize that God's love meets us where we are and moves beyond our understanding.
We would love to hear your ideas, opinions, and thoughts. Please offer us your comments on what the CYC can do for you.
